Free Vision Screening at MFA Boston to Celebrate Indigenous Peoples’ Day

This Indigenous Peoples’ Day, Zenni Optical invites you to celebrate with us at the Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) in Boston! Today, on October 14 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, we are offering free vision screenings in the Riley Seminar room. This initiative underscores our belief that clear vision is a fundamental right, not a privilege. We are committed to ensuring that everyone in our community, particularly our youth, has access to high-quality eye care.

Why Vision Screenings Matter

Good vision is crucial for overall well-being, especially for children who are still developing their learning and social skills. Regular vision screenings can help detect issues early, ensuring that individuals receive the necessary care before minor problems turn into major ones. Zenni Optical aims to make eye care accessible to all, reflecting our commitment to community health and education.

A Day of Culture and Education

Indigenous Peoples’ Day is an opportunity to honor the rich heritage and contributions of Indigenous communities. At the MFA, you can enjoy free general admission as part of the Fenway Alliance’s annual Opening Our Doors Day. This year’s celebration features a variety of engaging activities, such as access to the Georgia O’Keeffe and Henry Moore exhibition, gallery tours, family art-making activities, and performances..

Join us at the Museum of Fine Arts, located at 465 Huntington Ave, Boston, MA 02115. The museum is situated on the historic homelands of the Massachusett people, and it has long served as a gathering place for different nations. As a community-focused organization, we acknowledge this rich history and strive to elevate Indigenous narratives within our programming.

What to Expect from Zenni Optical

During the vision screening, trained professionals will conduct comprehensive checks to ensure that you and your family members have optimal vision. Whether you’re an adult or a child, everyone is welcome! In addition to the screenings, attendees will receive exclusive Zenni swag, adding a little fun to your day while promoting eye health.
