Girlfriend Prefers These to All My Other Glasses!
il y a 4 ansThe retired "fern" color, and the rectangular shape of the frames on my oval face, make my girlfriend really happy. These are the frames I have worn nearly every weekend when staying at her place and that has been true for years. I own about 12 pairs of glasses from multiple vendors. These glasses are my partner's favorite.
Some people have complained about the nose guards. I have a small nose and have had zero problems. I received my pair in May 2019 and nothing has gone wrong even with constant use.
I pulled them out of their case and am looking at them right now to look for defects. Nothing is wrong; the color hasn't even chipped. They're still in great shape.
I just wish I'd been quicker about ordering a backup pair in fern! These days, Zenni seems not to have any titanium for men in interesting colors, so I just bought these frames in brown in case the frames themselves get discontinued.

I LOVE these glasses...except a few MAJOR flaws (both in unannounced changes and supposed company "policy"
il y a 5 ansI LOVE everything about these frames...until a nose pad fell off. No big deal, right? Well I called Zenni and it appears that since I bought the glasses (this was in september or so and I think I bought the glasses in July) they has recently changed ALL their nose pads to require a screw. Well, that's problematic. I they didn't have any of the old nose pads on hand either! What did they do - chuck all the old nose components in the bin?? The "older" (though at the time they were still quite new to me) model has this little rectangular hole that you push as sightly larger piece of rectangle through it, holding the nose pad in place (see pic). So not only did Zenni not have a stock of the old frames with these nose pads available to be sent to me. They just seem to have ditched them completely. It was suggested I "simply" buy a new pair...but these are on Zenni's expensive side (plus the specialty lenses I need for astigmatism and prism and such) means my glasses were well over $150 IIRC. I also got the special coatings, and the thing where they turn into sunglasses in daylight, etc because I had expected these to be my "long-term" glasses.
Now, a reasonable seller would have offered to replace them as the fault was ultimately theirs for not saving some of the old nose pads. They hesitantly ordered a "10% discount..." whoop-dee-freaking-doo.
So I will now have to buy a completely different pair of glasses (with cheaper frames than these guys' $46 charge for these...Oh and also, I have a problem with the...arms? whatever the part is called that goes from the glasses to behind your ear) keeps getting loose and I have to tighten the screws on them at LEAST 1x a week.

Great Frames!
il y a 5 ansI really like these frames. I have just received my second pair. My first pair was from a year ago. The new ones have an upgraded set of nose pads. I did not even notice them right away, but since some people had complained about the old-style ones, I guess they made the switch. I am fine either way. The frames are light and comfortable, they fit really well and they look good!
