Radically Round!
il y a 6 joursThey are a smaller frame, but I was very surprised how well they fit my head. They don’t hyper-extend much, but just enough to “hug” my head to prevent any slipping.
The bridge width is a surprising comfort I never thought I needed! The pads are comfy and thicker than I usually have, but both have been a compliment to my nose.
The arms are sturdy. They don’t feel cheap and have a little weight to them that doesn’t make them feel heavy on the face, but not cheap in hand. The spring assist works wonderfully and they fall/open flush. No accidental closing or opening when picking up. They are indeed solid.
They are truly round. I miss my round frames and I feel very at home with their look. They are small rounds, but the wide bridge prevents them from making that “tiny face” effect I’ve seen with other small lenses and narrow bridges.
They have the night driving tint, and though I haven’t used them yet for night driving (I do during my work week), they give vision a soft warming-yellow tint that hat help natural colors pop and removes the “blue” color that naturally see without them, but will not be highly visible to outside viewers. They almost look like completely normal lenses unless you get in close and are trying to notice the tinting.

A Much Better Fit Than The Larger Full-Rounds

When I first got that pair, I thought I'd never be able to adjust them correctly, and when I finally did, they were still rather uncomfortable and caused too much friction with the side of my nose. Likely made for bigger heads. This pair fit my face much better straight out of the package, only requiring the usual adjustments to sit level on my crooked face.
I was concerned that these smaller diameter lenses would cost me too much peripheral vision, but I still get plenty "FOV" with these. No issue there.
I got these with the Transitions XTRActive photochromic lenses and those work great, though I have yet to test them on the road. The selling point for the high end Transitions is that they tint even behind a windshield, so we'll see how well that works. If it isn't very effective, I'll knock these down a star.

Even with a -7.0 correction and ultra cheap 1.57 index lenses, these glasses don't suffer from the coke bottle lens appearance one might expect.
