Fabulous look but too tight for me
il y a 2 moisI ordered these glasses because they had adjustable nose pads and metal frames. I prefer metal frames simply because of the adjustability. However, the arms of the frames are covered by plastic. Although there is a hinge to allow for slightly wider heads, it is not enough for me to wear comfortably as they squeeze into my head behind my ears which is a bit painful. The look of these frames was exactly what I was looking for but unfortunately they are going back because of my big head. At least I now know the measurements that I need to look for. I definitely would have kept these otherwise.

il y a un anThere are two big issues I've found with these frames that is leading me to return them. The first is that they sit really high up on my face, my eyes don't feel centered in the lens (the prescription is great though, I had no issues wearing them). Because they sit so high up, the lens don't extend down and I have to tilt my head a lot more to see things lower. Frustrating. The second issue is that the nose pads don't actually rest on my nose. I don't know if I have a defective pair or something since there is zero give here, but only the edge of the pads sit on my nose with the main portion faces outward, touching nothing. It looks odd.
I hate to return them, cause I love the subtle color of the frame. I could look past one of the two issues (these are more backup glasses, I mainly wear contacts) but the two combined is too much.
