Replace the nose pads with smooth ones!
il y a 2 moisI got these to try a larger frame with my progressive prescription. They are a fantastic size for progressive lenses. Usually I buy a 34mm height lens and these are 40mm. I will never buy the smaller height lens again. I have narrow eyes and find the Small size Zenni frames fit me the best. These were a little tight on delivery so I bent them a smidge out and they are perfect. But the nose pad bothered me. On inspection they are not smooth, like the usual nose pad. They have a Zenni Z cut into them. I had to use a magnifying glass to see this but it explained why there are ridges on the nose pad that makes them uncomfortable. I ordered a set of after market airbag 17mm nose pads and they are really comfortable. It is not a good idea to put ridges that can catch suntan lotion, sweat, oil, dirt, skin cells etc on the nose pad. But I have to say the after market airbag ones are the most comfortable nose pads I've ever had so maybe they did me a favor making their Z ones so uncomfortable. Otherwise I never would have switched. The glasses are good quality and the lenses are excellent quality. I like the 1.5 lenses for best clarity. I think these are the best pair of progressives I've every had. I ordered another pair of Small size, but big frame glasses in a more neutral color since these are a little wild and the coloring doesn't compliment my skin tone. I probably would have preferred one of the other colors that is now retired. Price for value on these is excellent. I'm glad Zenni now makes it easy to search for Small frames so I don't waste time looking at ones that are too big for my face. I also need to have nose pads because I have a round face with high cheeks and I need to be able to adjust the nose pads so the glasses do not touch my cheeks when I smile.

This is the best I have been able to see in years. I do not know how they do it, but they are perfect. I took a chance on these frames, and I am happy I did. Nor my usual style, but perfect for summer. They make me smile just looking at them. Take a chance with these, you will not be disappointed!
