I understand why these retired due to the loose screws, but they were easily one of the most stylish frames this site has released.
il y a 10 moisVisually, the combination of of hardware and acetate materials was just stunning, easily one of my favorites that I’ve seen from here. The performance/manufacture issue of the screws is likely cause to the style being retired, but like… they were so gorgeous, there is surely a way to create a similar style with an improvement to the hinges or screws.

Loose Screws
il y a 6 ansOverall, I have loved these glasses. I've had them for over a year and I wear them often. However, after a couple of months of wearing them, the screw loosened on the bridge, and they are therefore way too big on me (they were already too big for me, but I liked them so much I didn't really care). I was able to keep wearing them by tightening the tiny screw by hand after each wear. Although annoying, I still liked the frames, so I continued to put up with the maintenance.
