DIY Shamrock Shades for St. Patrick’s Day

Add a little luck to your St. Patrick’s Day with a pair of sparkling shamrock glasses. We’re going to show you how to deck out your Zenni Optical lenses so you’re seeing green all day while staying stylish.

To create one pair of our DIY Shamrock Shades you’ll need the following supplies:

  • One piece of medium-weight green glitter cardstock
  • One piece of transparent green cellophane
  • Double-sided tape
  • One pair of scissors
  • Eyeglasses (we suggest these!)

Green glitter paper, metallic hole puncher, green scissors, black sunglasses, green plastic sheet.

Instructions:

Step 1: Download a shamrock glasses template online

Step 2: Trace and cut out your shamrock shape for your glasses

Step 3: Next, place the cellophane beneath the cut-out glasses pattern, trace, and cut out

Step 4: Use clear glue to combine the cellophane to the cut out shamrock shape cardstock cut out.

Step 5: Use pieces of double-sided tape to adhere the cardstock/cellophane piece to the frames
