STAGECOACH festival with a large crowd under a colorful sky. A ferris wheel is visible in the background.

Just as the dust begins to settle from the whirlwind weekends of Coachella, another major music festival is about to kick it up all over again. This time, the Indio desert belongs to all you cowboys and cowgirls out there. That’s right, country music fans, it’s time for Stagecoach Music Festival! Here at Zenni, we’ve got the latest sunglasses, fashion tips, and insider scoops to keep you looking country cool in the blazing hot desert sun. So grab your favorite pair of boots, kick up your feet, and enjoy the ride!

Headlined by some of the hottest names in country music, Stagecoach is one of the most exciting music festivals of the year. It’s all-American fun mixed with a laid back, party atmosphere. And while you won’t see the Victoria’s Secret supermodel squad posing for selfies, this annual festival definitely draws some big time Hollywood names. Reese Witherspoon, Rachel McAdams, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, and Kevin Costner have all been spotted enjoying the mix of country, bluegrass, and southern rock. With this year’s amazing lineup featuring powerhouses like Carrie Underwood, Eric Church, Sam Hunt, and Luke Bryan alongside legends like Emmylou Harris, Lee Ann Womack, Robert Earl Keen, and The Doobie Brothers, we can’t wait to get down and get loose!

WOMEN

While Coachella regulars favor their boho staples, namely gladiator sandals and crochet dresses, Stagecoach style is all about country fashion. These super hip and stylish gals love their denim shorts, straw hats, western accents, and American flag apparel. And remember: don’t leave home without your favorite boots!

Go big or go home is the motto for country music’s leading ladies. Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, and Kacey Musgraves, who have all performed at Stagecoach festival, love their larger-than-life sunglasses.

RETRO

For a vintage vibe, channel Miranda Lambert’s retro vixen persona in her ‘Little Red Wagon’ music video. Her red-on-red ensembles, such as cherry red sunglasses and matching cowgirl boots, are the perfect throwback look for Stagecoach. Fashion insider tip: subtle polka dots add a flirty, fun element to any outfit.

TRY: Retro-chic, polka dot sunnies are the perfect mix of 1950s glamour and country fashion.

ROUND

Round sunglasses are by far the hottest festival trend of the season, and we’re loving the free-spirited, seventies flair that this circular shape evokes. While you might equate the ‘70s with boho, adding a metallic lens to a round frame updates this style and allows for you to match an oversized silver belt buckle to your shades.

TRY: The etched logo detailing on the temples of these mirrored frames add a subtle western element that’s complementary to any cowgirl look.

HEART SHAPED

We’re well aware that almost every girl has a pair of cat-eye frames or aviators laying around. Stand out at Stagecoach by snagging a pair of heart-shaped frames for festival season. Not only are they a much needed fix for that achy breaky heart, but they’re also sure to bring out your inner Daisy Duke! Pair them with cut-off denim shorts, your go-to cowgirl boots, and a flannel for when it cools down at night.

TRY: We’ve upped the ante by adding an amber-tinted mirrored lens to these textured, heart-shaped festival sunglasses.

MEN

Stagecoach is perhaps the one music festival where you won’t be seeing the quintessential hipster look. It’s all about good ol’ fashioned cowboy style at this outdoor desert party. We’ve seen festival regular Ashton Kutcher stay true to his Midwestern roots. The former That ’70s Show star has rocked some serious cowboy fashion — denim overalls, leather boots, bandanas, and an oversized cowboy hat in years past. As for male country music stars, their style is full of Western flair. Tight jeans, cowboy boots, and aviator sunglasses are the go-to look.

AVIATORS

Without a doubt, this classic sunglass style is the must-have choice for country music fans and cowboys alike. From thin metal frames á la Eric Church’s signature aviators (has he ever performed without them?), to our bourbon-colored acetate shades, they’re a wardrobe staple for Stagecoach and beyond.

TRY: A modern twist on a down-home classic. Our ultimate aviator frames feature a partial metallic rim.
