Using your HSA/FSA in 2022

Do you have remaining FSA/HSA funds for 2022?
Do you need help using them?

Let’s start with the basics…

FSA (Flexible Spending Account) and HSA (Health Savings Account) are programs employers offer to set aside pre-tax funds for various healthcare expenses.

While HSA funds roll over, FSA is a “use it or lose it” plan. These funds must be used by December 31st every year or you lose the money.

Both programs are great ways to purchase all types of prescription eyewear (glasses and sunglasses) from Zenni. This includes single-vision lenses, bifocals, progressives, and our new Blokz® and Transitions® lenses.

Your FSA/HSA funds can also be used for eye exam copays and sometimes for eyewear accessories (such as lens wipes, cases, chains, and repair kits).*

How to use your FSA/HSA at Zenni

If you have an FSA/HSA debit card, you can simply use that card to complete your purchase on our website.

If you do not have an FSA/HSA debit card, you can obtain an itemized receipt to submit to them for reimbursement. You can find a receipt under your Zenni account or you can easily contact our award-winning customer service department which can email it to you anytime.

Need to make a return on an FSA/HSA purchase?

With Zenni, we accept returns for any reason for up to 30 days for store credit. If you need a refund, check first with your specific FSA/HSA program about their policy on returns. Some FSA programs will not allow returns if funds have expired.

*Please check with your individual program about coverage for eyewear accessories.
