Do progressive lenses require an adjustment period?

Yes. It typically takes a few days to a couple of weeks to fully adjust. Because of the subtle variations in the lens, you may need to learn to point your nose at what you want to see and slightly turn your head, especially for reading, to find the clearest vision spot.

Single-vision lenses have one consistent prescription across the entire lens. Progressive lenses, however, blend three vision fields seamlessly into one lens without visible lines, allowing you to see clearly at all distances by simply shifting your gaze.

Yes. Their ergonomic, contoured design distributes weight evenly and often includes adjustable nose pads or temple grips to enhance comfort.

Absolutely. You can customize your progressive lenses with high-index options for a thinner profile, anti-reflective coatings to reduce glare, or blue light blocking (Blokz) to protect your eyes during extended screen time. You can also get them as progressive sunglasses.

You will need your full, current prescription from your eye doctor, which should include ADD (Addition) power. When ordering, simply select the progressive lens type and provide your prescription details. If you have a high or strong prescription, considering a high-index lens material is recommended for optimal thickness and weight.
