Celebrating the Year of the Horse at the MFA Boston
On February 19, Zenni partnered with the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (MFA) to celebrate Lunar New Year with a joyful, family-first evening that blended cultural programming, hands-on creativity, and something we care deeply about: expanding access to vision care. The MFA’s Lunar New Year celebration invited the Boston community to gather in the galleries, explore Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese art, and take part in an evening designed for all ages.
Hosted as part of the MFA’s popular Third Thursdays programming, the event welcomed 2,500+ attendees and created a vibrant space for families to explore performances, creative activities, and cultural experiences throughout the museum. It was the perfect setting for Zenni to show up in a meaningful way by offering vision education and screenings to families in a trusted community space.

Bringing Vision Care Into a Community Moment
At the MFA, Zenni hosted a dedicated activation space where families could participate in free vision screenings, interactive VR vision demos, educational eye health experiences, and product gifting. The response was strong and highly aligned with Zenni’s mission, with families and children actively participating throughout the evening.
The impact was meaningful. Zenni completed 220 vision screenings and saw a 30% fail rate, which reinforced the importance of early detection and family access to vision care. The team also delivered 49 VR demos that helped families better understand common vision conditions in a hands-on, engaging way.

Mr. Dazzle’s Spotlight Talk
A major highlight of the night was Zenni’s live spotlight talk with Mr. Dazzle (Zipeng Zhu), the artist behind our limited edition Lunar New Year eyewear accessories.
His talk, Something From Anything, explored how heritage, identity, and lived experience shape his work, and it resonated deeply with attendees. The session filled both gallery levels, drew strong engagement, and created a powerful connection between the collection, the artist, and the community.
To make the moment even more special, the first 75 attendees received a Mr. Dazzle-designed exclusive gift . Guests loved the experience and shared positive feedback about the partnership and Mr. Dazzle’s presence. He also stayed after the talk to meet attendees and take photos, which added to the warmth and authenticity of the evening.

Why This Partnership Matters
This event was a strong example of how Zenni can bring together community impact, vision health education, cultural relevance, and brand storytelling in one experience.
By meeting families where they are in trusted cultural spaces, we can make eye health more accessible while building meaningful connections with new audiences.
Thank you to MFA Boston, Mr. Dazzle, and everyone who celebrated Lunar New Year with us. We are proud to have been part of such a special community moment.
