Zenni’s 2025 Year in Review: Vision, Impact, and a Brighter Future for All
As we reflect on 2025, our initiatives were driven by the belief that clear vision can change lives. Zenni believes that everyone should have access to good vision and the confidence it brings. Over the years, this has resulted in the donation of more than 2,288,000 pairs of glasses, over 6,700 children’s vision screenings, and over $1.3 million to charities and communities in need. We invite you to review the year with us and take pride in the impact we’ve made together.
Ocean Conservation with EcoBloomz™
In 2025, Zenni doubled down on green innovation with the launch of EcoBloomz™, a line of eyewear crafted from recycled plastics and bio-based acetate. This initiative, in partnership with the Wyland Foundation and as a proud member of 1% for the Planet, embodies our dedication to sustainability. Every EcoBloomz™ sale funds global ocean conservation and environmental awareness campaigns. The frame styles cater to all ages, reflecting Zenni’s commitment to protecting the planet through responsible business practices.

A Joyful Day of Art, Vision, and Innovation at the de Young Museum
Community engagement and cultural access are at the heart of Zenni’s CSR ethos. As the presenting sponsor at the annual family event at San Francisco’s de Young Museum, Zenni hosted over 250 vision screenings (including innovative VR-based evaluations), introduced children and adults to our cutting-edge EyeQLenz™ with ID Guard™ technology, and provided high-quality protective glasses to attendees. Brand ambassador George Kittle contributed star power and inspiration, underscoring our belief that creativity and health are interconnected.

Mental Health, Movement, and the “I Run For” Campaign
May saw the launch of Zenni’s “I Run For…” campaign led by Chase Stokes and in partnership with Bring Change to Mind. Focusing on the powerful connection between movement and mindfulness, the campaign merged community engagement, such as sponsoring the NYCRUNS Summer Loving Fest, with product innovation in the Zunnies™ sports sunglasses line. Notably, 1% of all Zunnies™ proceeds in May supported youth mental health programs, advancing open conversations and destigmatizing mental health issues.
Celebrating Diversity with the Pride Month Collection
Zenni’s purpose-driven design flourished with the vibrant 2025 Pride Collection. Each of the 32 unique frame styles represented individuality and inclusivity, ensuring that everyone feels seen and celebrated. Proceeds were donated to It Gets Better, a global nonprofit uplifting LGBTQ+ youth. Through storytelling campaigns, safe school programming, and international outreach, this partnership extended the reach of affirming visibility from style to impactful support.
Back-to-School: Empowering the Next Generation
Education and vision go hand in hand. This year, Zenni provided durable, kid-friendly frames, hosted screenings, and shared practical eye health tips for students and parents, reaffirming that wellness is foundational to academic and social success. The focus extended beyond products—students and their families were empowered with learning, self-expression, and confidence.
Partnering for Equity: Community Goods and Chicago
Zenni partnered with Community Goods in Chicago, delivering free vision screenings, and EyeQLenz glasses to local children. This partnership underscores our conviction in the transformative power of creative after-school programs and holistic wellness, particularly for underserved communities. Every event is driven by our passionate volunteers, who ensure support, information, and inspiration reach every family.

Building Creative Futures: The San Francisco Symphony Partnership
2025 marked a new collaboration with the San Francisco Symphony, beginning at their Opening Night Gala. Through Zenni’s support, more than 300,000 Bay Area residents—25,000 of them students—will access high-quality music programming and education. Custom EyeQLenz™ gifts brought the benefits of cutting-edge lens technology to new audiences, while concertgoers celebrated inclusivity, innovation, and the shared joy of the arts.
Kid’s Vision for Community Wellness: Columbus Crew in Ohio
Zenni partnered with the Columbus Crew and Whitehall School District in Ohio to deliver vision screenings for over 400 young students. More than three-quarters of those screened were referred for follow-up care, demonstrating both the scope of undiagnosed vision issues and the critical role of early intervention. Each child received EyeQLenz™ lenses, and the event created space for learning, play, and pride in community identity.

Eye Health Education: Essentials for Every Household
Throughout the year, Zenni shared practical, expert-backed guidance on protecting eyesight, ranging from scheduling regular eye exams to preventing digital eye strain, UV protection, and workplace eye safety. These habits, delivered through educational outreach and online resources, reinforced our message: a clear vision is a foundation for lifelong well-being.
