Beautiful for a petite, heart-shaped face
4 years agoThese are fantastic frames for a petite, heart-shaped face. (My tween daughter's, to be precise, but they would also fit adults with a narrow face.) You probably already know that the rectangle/Wayfarer shape doesn't look great on this face shape, and this is a nice alternative if you still want that big, acetate-frame burst of color.
The color -- which is more red and less pink than pictured -- probably suits both warm and cool skin tones. My daughter is very warm, and I was worried that these could look too cool and harsh with their hints of black, but they are very complementary. There is no logo on the temples, which is also a plus.
If I have one quibble, it is that because of how the colors in the acetate vary from dark to light, the silver hardware inside the frame is really visible at left front, but not at right front. This is a QC hazard of inexpensive Internet glasses and not a big deal.
Five stars; I would buy these frames again. But I'll update this review if they turn out not to be durable enough for an active tween.
