They were great until they fell apart
17 days agoI own a farm, so I rely heavily on eye wear that keeps the UV exposure down. These frames provided excellent eye coverage, almost instant tint, and were extremely comfortable. A few weeks ago, the little plastic temple parts began to delaminate from the frame. No idea why, since I baby my eyeglasses.
Then Monday of last week pulled them out of the case to wear for the day, and the lens had a hairline crack where the temple piece meets the lens. Over the last few days they have cracked completely and I am down to one functioning lens.
Of course....it happens once they are discontinued and I can't get a replacement.
The review isn't for the glasses as much as it is for the product quality. My wife and I buy all our frames through Zenni, so I hope this isn't going to be a habit.
