Facial recognition lost
2 months agoBackground: I had to return a brand new pair of glasses because my optometrist gave me an incorrect Rx. Zenni’s return process was smooth and easy as could be. I ordered another pair with the right Rx, and I like them a lot. My only problem is that the fancy new infrared-blocking lenses render my iPhone’s facial recognition technology useless. I eventually was able to work around it by disabling my phone’s “require attention” Face ID feature, but that makes my phone less secure. Zenni’s product description should warn consumers about this issue.
