Just get ‘em
3 years agoIf nothing else, the fact that they change color is reason to get these. Not the strongest frames, but if they ever break, they’re cheap enough to replace… plus they change color!

Fragile
3 years agoI've never had a favorite pair of glasses until now. The frame fits my face nicely and more importantly the top of my nose.
The Blokz Photochromic looks great with this frame shape. I enjoy the darkened tint on this frame as they look like normal sunglasses. My other glasses just look weird outdoors when they darken.
Unfortunately, the left arm snapped off within 2 weeks of careful use. The breaking point is where the arm screws into the frame, the plastic is too thin in this area.
As soon as you handle these frames, you understand how thin and fragile the frame is so you naturally handle them carefully. However, that did not matter. These frames can kind of be categorized as expensive disposable frames. If you have kids or are around unpredictable movement, then I would pass on these. There's a decent concern that the frames will be lightly tapped and break.
I will miss the clear to blue when outdoors and how light weight they are.
One image has the saturation boosted to give an idea of what the blue looks like outside.
