Worn everyday for a year, no issues!
Bought these after a very similar pair of designer frames broke 4 times in 2 years... I've had these for over a year now and have experienced no issues at all! I wear them all day every day and can confidently say I love them!! They're very lightweight so at first I was worried about the quality but they're very sturdy and have held up great!

Great Frames, Not Pleased with Progressive Lenses or EyeQ
20 days ago
Let's start with the positive: I really like the size and fit of these frames. This is actually one of three pairs I have with the same frames because my wife likes them so much. This was my first experience with progressive lenses, though, and I have to say they are driving me up the wall. The distance area is much smaller than I was anticipating, to the point where I have to angle my head down basically all the time when I'm not reading. My reader add is pretty severe compared to the overall prescription, too, so even slightly down my field of view, everything more than a couple of feet away turns into a blurry mess. I probably should have adjusted the add down to where it would just take me to my computer prescription instead of the full near amount because I just don't usually put anything that close to my face, and it makes like 2/3 of the lens unusable 90% of the time. At the same time, it's not like you can sample what progressives are going to feel like ahead of time because they have to be specially made, and most of the struggles I'm experiencing aren't a result of Zenni doing anything wrong. I will say, though, that I got the premium progressives because they were supposed to provide wider viewing areas, and the viewing area for near vision feels like a tiny sliver. If my head isn't facing just the right direction, it feels like I'm looking through a smudge (except the lenses are perfectly clean). At the same time, the transition from far to near isn't remotely gentle, and I end up not being able to see at basically any distance with most of the lens. That, again, could be because of the severe difference between lens severities. I only have +0.5/+0.75 for distance, but the add is +1.75, which more than quadruples the power on the left side and more than triples it on the right, so there's a lot to move through. It's a bit nauseating. Also, I have the EyeQ photochromic lenses, and they just do not do that much changing, nor are the clip-on sunglasses sufficiently dark. I live in Phoenix, and the sun here is brutal, so I was hoping for something a bit more drastic; I thought the clip-on sunglasses might be able to make up the difference, but they don't do much, either. Not the best experience this time.
