Does not have hinges - the arms do not fold!
17 days agoIt probably is my fault for not double-checking, but in this day and age, who's expecting glasses that do not have hinges so the arms do not fold in?? They're basically just thin wires that you have to bend to adjust - and I'm finding it quite difficult to adjust both the nosepads and the arms. I'll be purchasing another pair of glasses with Zenni, as I have no issues with the service, but this particular design is just impractical.

Like 'em fine
20 days agoThey are light and comfortable and look nice. I find it kinda inconvenient that they don't fold flat like most glasses but I don't regret my purchase at all

Trivex lenses are the key!
a month agoMy prescription is +2 for distance and another +2.5 for near vision when getting Progressive glasses. Previous glasses from other companies have been made with Polycarbonate lenses. The vision was always a bit poor when looking at distant objects. I had a pair of distance only glasses that worked better. Now I understand that my distance only glasses were CR-39, which gets too thick for +4.5, but works for +2. Meanwhile Trivex is light and has a much better abbe value than Polycarbonate, and about the same as the human cornea. My Trivex lenses give me the crystal clear vision I've been looking for! They are also lightweight. A double win! And there is a triple win - as they qualify as safety lenses, just like Polycarbonate! (I did not realize this particular frame does not have hinges - but I've gotten used to that.)
