Great cycling glasses
3 days agoI get lots of compliments on these glasses and am so happy there’s a wraparound frame that gives me the protection I need and can take my Rx. The only downside is I would’ve liked to have a transitions lens, but it’s only offered in polycarbonate. Poly is literally the worst material you can use in optical lenses. It’s heavy and has terrible optics. Trivex and Tribrid are far superior. Unfortunately they aren’t offered which is completely baffling. I purchased 1.61 and a mirror coat. I had a great pair of custom cycling glasses made in Trivex transitions with a mirror coat. They were awesome. Unfortunately I crashed them and I can’t find anyone willing to put a mirror coat on a transitions lens anymore. I’d give 5 stars if Transitions lenses were in Trivex or 1.61. I really wanted a photochromic lens but I can’t tolerate polycarbonate. Bonus if Zenni starts carrying Tribrid.

a month agoFrames are wide and the arms are bowed so they don't fit well. I assumed that the sizes were for the frame, small, medium and large but that doesn't seem to be the case. It seems the sizes are for the lenses.
