excellent and stylish choice for progressive lenses
2 months agoThese are my second pair of glasses from Zenni, and I am so happy I picked these! I'm a classical musician and a progressive lens user, and these frames provide large lenses that give a wide in-focus view without looking too big for my medium sized face. Thanks to these glasses I no longer have to tilt my head to fully use my progressive prescription, which is super handy in rehearsals: I can see everything I need to see by just moving my eyes instead of looking around like a bird!
The middle of the medium size frame range is what tends to fit me best, and these fit like a dream right out of the mail. The frame itself is sturdy and high quality, and the lens clarity is superb even under harsh stage lights. Glare was at a minimum, and no weird refraction or reflection off the frames themselves into the lens (something that has been an issue for me with previous frames).
I also chose the infrared and blue light blocking non-transition lenses, and I wasn't sure if the pink sheen would bother me as I'm in no way a pink person. Happy to say not only does it not bother me (when they say subtle they really do mean it! Yay!), I think these lenses might be the very best lenses I've ever had in any pair of glasses I've ever owned. And I've had a LOT of glasses as someone who's approaching 40 and has been wearing glasses since kindergarten.
While I do use a fairly strong prescription, these lenses are lighter weight than the same prescription in a significantly smaller lens size in glasses that I got from a competitor, and both the clarity and color accuracy of Zenni's lenses, despite the various filtering coatings, absolutely blow my significantly more expensive glasses out of the water in every way but price.
While I really liked my first pair of Zenni's, this frame/lens combo is the fit that has sealed the deal and turned me into a lifetime customer. Beyond thrilled to have such a stylish and comfortable frame with such a low weight on the front of my face. It's been a long time since I've loved a pair of glasses so much. Bravo, Zenni!
