Soooo cute... soooo breakable!
6 years agoThese were the cutest glasses my 10 year-old son has ever owned; unfortunately, they're the most breakable and fragile pair he's ever owned as well. After less than 2-months of gentle use, the frames broke in two different places around the right lense.
Both breaks happened within a day of eachother, when he was taking his headphones off and the cord barely snagging the frame. The first break was between the lense and bridge, and the second was after that break was taped, and between the lense and hinge.
The glasses did not come off during either incident, even though the cord was not attached. My son never used the cord because the knobs attaching it to the frames dug-in behind his ears, and was highly uncomfortable. Regardless however, the glasses fit snug behind the ears thanks to the outward bow of the temple piece. The bowing complemented my son's round face, but I suspect that this feature would look exaggerated and non-complimented on a face with a slender profile.

Not a good fit!
7 years agoI bought these for my very active boy (7). Since they had the coil in the back, I assumed they were rugged. Nope. Very cheap plastic that looks like it will break easily. They are so uncomfortable he refuses to wear them. With the plastic nose pieces, they sit really high on his face and hurt!

The best glasses ever!
8 years agoThe plastic around the nose is nice and comfortable but it is also weak and can rip/tear apart. I would strongly suggest being able to buy multiple plastic replacement pieces in case of tearing. Maybe the manufacture can try a stronger plastic material that maintains flexibility and comfort.
