Cant purchase more clip ons
2 days agoI have worn these glasses for multiple years and have purchased a new pair almost every year. At this price point, that worked well for me because the frames take a beating over time and my prescription tends to change slightly.
Unfortunately, I will not be purchasing them again. Zenni no longer offers the magnetic clip-ons for individual purchase. The clip-ons themselves are inexpensive, but they also scratch easily, break easily, and are much more likely to need replacement than the actual prescription glasses.
Requiring customers to purchase an entirely new pair of prescription glasses just to replace a damaged or lost clip-on does not make sense.
I contacted Zenni through chat and was told that individual replacement clip-ons will no longer be offered. Because of that decision, I have moved to another company that sells replacement magnetic clip-ons separately.
I’m very disappointed because I have been a longtime Zenni customer and have recommended Zenni to other people in the past. Unfortunately, the lack of replacement clip-ons makes this style of glasses impractical for me, and I will no longer be purchasing my glasses through Zenni.
