When is a full-rim eyeglasses frame also a half-rim eyeglasses frame? When it’s this full-rim, black, narrow width, rectangular, hypoallergenic stainless steel Men’s eyeglasses frame with flexible plastic temple arms and a unique, subtle floating lens design characteristic of a half-rim frame. On the website picture, the lenses appear to be fully seated in the front rims. But appearances can be deceiving. When you get the glasses, you will see that the bottoms of the front rims are revealed to be merely a façade. The lenses are actually held in place on the top and the bridge by a reinforced inner rim. On the bottom and the temple arm sides, the lenses are held in place by a nylon filament, half-rim style, as the lenses float freely behind the bottom rims.
