Have you ever noticed how kid’s eyeglasses seem to last all of about three days? After all, bouncing a basketball on your glasses sounds like a great idea, right? To help prevent you from having to buy new glasses so frequently these youth glasses are constructed of memory titanium – a material that is both incredibly strong and also highly resilient to the normal bumps and scrapes that kids inflict. The full-rim design is tough and durable, and your kiddo can choose between blue and black or an all-black color scheme. Kids are tough – these glasses are tougher!

Frames from 2020 were good, frames from 2021 didn't hold up
5 years ago
The end piece of the frame near the hinge is incredibly malleable causing the glasses sit too loose on my son's head. I don't know what kind of memory titanium it is, but it forgot its form. Also after 4 months of use the nose pads fall off, and the lenses have started to fall out. Now he is wearing is older prescription because the new pair just aren't holding up.

Love the Frames

I love the glasses but I paid for anti fog and anti-glare and I could be wearing a mask and my glasses will fog up right away and I don't see no different in the glare

My daughter loves them

They shipped quickly. Arrived before expected. We're inexpensive and perfect. These glasses have flexible arms so they are a bit harder to break and perfect for kids that are a little more rough.

Not as durable as hoped...but what glasses are??
These glasses have slowly deteriorated with the active life of my 6-7 year old boy. He has ADHD, so is a fidget about these frames sitting on his face and ears just right. Within 2-3 months an minimal manipulation on our part and having them checked 1-2x at the optometrist, they started to slide down his nose constantly. I ordered cheap rubber retainers that fit close behind the ear (Amazon -- 20 sets for $10 or so) but do not have a strap (which, let's face it, is like a big "kick me" sign for glasses-wearers like myself, hubby and the boy. We will be proud in our nerdiness, but don't have to go over the top!) They solved the issue for another 3-4 months, then Son accidentally slept in his glasses one night, had a growth spurt, took them on vacation (even higher activity levels, sugar highs, sun and sand!), and they have just looked stretched out since then. They bit the dust in the usual way -- knocked them off his face and a friend stepped on them this week, complete amputation of one arm and bridge piece. Total lifespan 8.5 months. I NEED glasses that keep up with this boy and don't lose earpieces like his plastic ones from Zenni do. I'd do the rubbery ones, but they stretch out too fast (blast our Viking skull and Native American cheekbones genes). Metal becomes brittle or bends out. Plastic just falls apart. Anyone remember that credit card commercial with the inflatable sunglasses from circa 1999? Yeah, need those for this little man.

My daughter is ROUGH on her glasses, she is 9, does gymnastics and cheerleading and often falls asleep with her glasses on. These glasses have held up well over the past 4 months. In comparison to other glasses that we have gotten at Davis Vision, the quality of these glasses far surpass ANY glasses we have gotten at Davis Vision. The scratch resistant coating is great! I will never order glasses from a storefront chain again!
