Great frames, made a mistake with the transitions.
3 months agoI love the frames appearance, weight and fit. The only reason this isn't a perfect rating, is I wanted transitions to darken in the sunlight because I have sensitive eyes. I did select a transitions lens, but they didn't darken sufficiently in the bright summer sun. It was my mistake, but I'd like the website to be more clear on what the different options for lenses mean.
I love the frames appearance, weight and fit. The only reason this isn't a perfect rating, is I wanted transitions to darken in the sunlight because I have sensitive eyes. They are okay, but...
4 months agoI don't like them near as much as my last pair that I got from Zenni. I went from having an all plastic/acrylic pair to these mostly metal frame ones and I kind of wish I didn't. They look good, but aren't as comfortable to wear. It feels like nose pads apply more pressure to my nose even though these are supposed to be a bit lighter. I'll try adjusting them a bit and see if that helps. But there are other issues, the frames have sharp edges all around the main portion around the edges. And I don't mean like a little sharp, I mean that you could probably actually cut yourself on these glasses if you were careless. It's like they were punched or cut out of a sheet of material and no one relieved the edges with a bit of light sanding. Not a big deal to do it myself, but it doesn't inspire confidence in the build quality when you have to work on the product to stop yourself from getting cut on it. The arms, despite being metal, also feel quite flimsy.
Overall, wouldn't recommend.
