2 days agoI found a frame I really liked. The 'try on now' view helped me pick them out. The help given for picking the right size was great to use and easy for me. The glasses arrived within the time frame they said it would and nicely packaged. I tried them out for a week to see how I would do using them. This was a progressive Lense, so I was a little unsure. I did decide to send them back and pick a different Lenses. This too was so easy to do. I had a great experience and plan to get my new pair soon.

Beautiful but kind of hazardous (in "purple")
18 days agoFirst of all, Zenni is amazing. I needed these in a pinch for my brother's wedding so I wasn't wearing sunglasses (Progressives) in the photos. I paid the extra for rush and Zenni got them to me with awesome timing.
Now, the glasses. They're SO cute. The shape is not only very flattering, but it's also very comfortable. I feel like they sit lower on my nose/face than most of my other cat eye/rectangular-cat shaped glasses (those two similar shapes are all I wear). This makes them really pop, naturally giving you that 'librarian peeping over top of glasses' look, and they look more flattering than other similar styles. (There is a very similar style on Zenni - #1914427 - but I think this one is more flattering and the try-on thing seems to agree.)
BUT:
They're not really purple. The part that's colored is almost too dark to discern a color, but if you could see a color, you might catch a very, very gray "I don't feel like being purple today" purple, as though it's having a bad day. And the rest is clear. And if you've never worn glasses with a clear plastic bottom rim (I hadn't), you may not know that these in particular catch and refract the light like crazy, causing physical pain. I literally cannot wear them outside in the sun. (Good thing I still have those Progressives.) Driving with them is dangerous, especially at night! It's like the light is reflected directly into my pupils.
